About the Journal
Biodiversidade Brasileira is a scientific electronic publication of the Chico Mendes Institute of Biodiversity Conservation (ICMBio), which aims to promote the discussion and dissemination of experiences in conservation and management, focusing on conservation units and endangered species. The tion deals with complex contemporary issues related to a wide range of situations and contexts, the understanding of which requires the involvement of many areas of knowledge. These are questions that demand the development of techniques and technologies, and the sharing of data and information between different actors and institutions. On the other hand, by dealing with situations that require management decisions, the tion provides a greater approximation among specialists from different fields of knowledge, society organizations and managers, with potential for innovative developments with significant impacts for the conservation of biodiversity. Attention: from April 2023, BioBrasil will accept manuscripts with up to 8,000 words, not counting bibliographic references.
